What we do
We aim to provide a friendly, independent and affordable source of investment information, tools and training for everyone. Our service is subscription based so that we can remain independent. We may show advertising on our site but only if this does not affect our independence.
In order to provide the best possible service we will and try and respond to your questions and feedback to keep our content relevant, so please do get in touch or post a question on the forums.
Our focus is primarily for those in the UK, but if people elsewhere find the site useful they are welcome to subscribe.
What we do not do
We do not provide investment advice for individuals. We are not financial advisers, so if you have specific questions tailored to your circumstances you should contact an independent financial adviser.
Who we are
The co-founders of PensionCraft are Ramin Nakisa and Aditya Signodia. We have worked as colleagues for several years as investment strategists in Investment Banking. We liked each other so much that we started a company together.
I worked in investment banking from 2001 to 2016. Before becoming a strategist I spent two years teaching finance in an investment bank, which I loved, and this helped me to learn how to explain finance in a non-mathematical way. I have written two books about finance and investment: “A Financial Bestiary” which is meant for professional investors (fund managers and investment bank employees) and "Invest in Fear" which explains how to buy and sell volatility using exchange traded products.
I was born and grew up in Worcester where I attended King’s School, did a Physics degree and doctorate at Imperial College in London then postdoc research in neural network models of language acquisition in the Experimental Psychology Department at Oxford University where I met my wife (that was the best thing about my time in Oxford!).
I live in Amersham in Buckinghamshire with my wife and two children. In the few hours when I’m not working on PensionCraft, I enjoy astronomy and gardening.

The Bestiary is over five hundred pages of clearly explained finance encapsulating most of what you need to know to work in finance as a fund manager or an investment bank. It took me five years to write and contains 82 worked exercises and over a hundred diagrams and graphs.
People love this book. That's why it has nine five star reviews.
I grew up in Hyderabad, India, did my commerce honours in the same city. I did my MBA at XIME (Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship) in Bangalore. I have worked in investment banking as an offshore associate since 2008. I worked with a fixed income research team for 3 years then I shifted to asset allocation team. I live in Hyderabad with my parents, brother and wife & son. My biggest strength is my family.
